Why Webflow needs an alert layer
Webflow forms are easy to launch, but lead handling often breaks after launch because form notifications stay tied to a shared inbox nobody actively watches.
Create a dedicated forwarding inbox
Set up one Form2SMS inbox for the site and name it after the form or campaign. That makes future routing changes much easier when multiple forms need different recipients.
Update the Webflow form notification target
Open the form settings, replace or extend the existing notification destination, and use the Form2SMS forwarding address. Keep the original inbox if the client still needs a written archive.
Confirm the destination list
Inside Form2SMS, verify that the correct phone number, inbox, or team alias is attached. A routing address without a destination does nothing.
Run a controlled test
Submit a clearly labelled test lead from the live site. Confirm that the alert reaches the destination fast enough and that the message contains enough context to act on immediately.
What to document for handoff
When this becomes real content, end the guide with a handoff section that records who owns the Webflow project, who owns the Form2SMS account, and who receives after-hours alerts.
